National Mourning day marking the 39th death anniversary of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman
ASA University Bangladesh (ASAUB) observed the National Mourning day marking the 39th death anniversary of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with due respect and solemnity on 16 August 2014. On the occasion, the authority of ASAUB organized a discussion program on the life and activity of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Prof. Dr. Dalem Ch. Barman, Vice-Chancellor of ASAUB presided over the discussion program.
Prof. Dr. A.K.M. Helal uz Zaman, Treasurer, Prof. Md. Muinuddin Khan, Adviser, Prof. Dr. Abu Daud Hasan, Dean, Faculty of Arts & Social Science, Prof. Dr. Iqbal Hossain, Dean (In charge), Faculty of Business, Prof. Dr. AB Siddique , Dean, Faculty of Law, Mr. Md. Saiful Alam, Chairman, Dept. of Law, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abdul Bari, Chairman, Dept. of Public Health, teachers and students from different departments spoke on the program. Registrar of ASAUB Mr. Md. Khalequzzman delivered the welcome speech. Mr. Vhokto Kumar Biswas, Senior Lecturer, Dept. of Business Administration conducted the program.
The speakers discussed on various aspects of the life of Bangabandhu and relentless struggles by him for liberation and independence of sovereign Bangladesh. They emphasized on the uncompromising leadership of the visionary leader who united the whole Bangalee nation to sacrifice everything for the cause of liberation and independence.
Chairmen, teachers and students from different departments, officials of ASAUB were present in the discussion program.
