ASAUB and ASA Launch Joint Research on Rural Livelihoods

ASA University Bangladesh (ASAUB) and ASA, the country’s leading microfinance organization, have entered into a joint research collaboration titled “The Impact of ASA Microfinance and ASA-Led Enterprise on Rural Livelihoods in Bangladesh.”

The partnership was announced at a meeting chaired by ASAUB Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. S. M. Rezaul Karim. Senior representatives from both institutions, including faculty members from ASAUB’s Faculty of Business and program leaders from ASA, attended the session.

Prof. Dr. Karim highlighted that the collaboration will connect students with real-world challenges and generate research to inform policy, strengthen communities, and drive sustainable economic growth. ASA representatives emphasized that joint efforts in agriculture and microfinance can enhance productivity, resilience, and food security, opening new pathways for impactful solutions.
