Public Health Department of ASA University Bangladesh (ASAUB) arranged a Freshers Reception ceremony for its newly admitted students of Master of Public Health (MPH) Degree Programme of Spring Semester-2017 on 27 January 2017 at the University premises. Prof. Dr. A.K.M. Helal uz Zaman Honorable Vice Chancellor (In-Charge) & Treasurer of ASAUB was present as the Chief Guest while Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abdul Bari Chaired the ceremony. Prof. Dr. Kohinur Begum, Dean, Faculty of Science and Engineering and Chairman, Dept. of Pharmacy, Registrar, Sheikh Md. Razab Ali of ASA University Bangladesh were present as the special guests in the Program. Adjunct Faculties Prof. Dr. Md. Ziaul Islam, Dr. S.M. Yasir Arafat and teachers of MPH program were also present on the occasion. Dr. Jesmin Akhter, Assistant Professor of Public Health Dept. delivered the welcome speech to the freshers.

The speakers highly appreciated the students for selecting ASAUB as their venue of higher education. The speakers apprised the facilities available at the ASAUB and highlighted job opportunities for the MPH degree holders at home and abroad. Newly admitted students highly appreciated the venture of the MPH Degree Program of ASAUB as they are receiving quality education here.
