A seminar on scientific discussion entitled ^'Ongoing research activities in the Department of Pharmacy^' was organized by the Department of Pharmacy, ASA University B angladesh (ASAUB) on 12th December, 2016 at ASA conference room. Professor Dr. Alam Nur E- Kamal, Department of Biology, City University, New York & visiting Professor (Honorary), Department of Pharmacy, ASAUB and Professor Dr. Kohinur Begum, Dean, Faculty of Science & Engineering and Chairman, Department of Pharmacy were present as the keynote speakers of the session. Professor Dr. A. K. M Helal uz Zaman, honorable Vice Chancellor (In-Charge), ASAUB, was present as the Chief Guest in this seminar. Professor Abu Daud Hasan, Dean, Faculty of Arts & Social Science, Professor Md. Iqbal Ahmed, Dean, Faculty of Business Administration and Mr. Sheikh Md. Razab Ali, Registrar, ASAUB were also present in the program. Keynote speaker Prof. Dr. Kohinur Begum presented the ongoing research on soil bacteria, probiotics and medicinal plants in the Department of Pharmacy. Another Keynote speaker Prof. Dr. Alam Nur E- Kamal appreciated the current research works and expressed his desire to work in collaboration for further study. Honorable Vice Chancellor (In-Charge) encouraged ongoing research works in the Department of Pharmacy and ensured that he will provide all sorts of support to continue for further study. All the faculty members and students of the Department of Pharmacy, ASAUB, participated in the seminar.
